FROM OLIVER NAYLOR (at funeral) After university Chris and I both scratched around for work. We were attempting to find employment but to no avail, partly out of choice. While we both struggled to discover what we wanted to do Chris made that difficult time fun. I will always remember the long walks we used to take out the back of Mill Hill and Finchley. We could talk about anything and Chris would make it interesting. At the same time he was constantly thirsty for more knowledge so that he could make decisions and form his own opinions. On the weekend after Chris passed away I went on one of those walks with my family. This gave me the time and space to contemplate my friend Chris and all his fantastic qualities. The variety of individual Memories here today are a testament to Chris and the profound effect he had on all of us as our friend.
